SUMMARY:Introduction to Sexual Harmful Behaviour - places available
DESCRIPTION:An Introduction to Sexually Harmful Behaviour has been designed as a one day basic introductory training event that is suitable for a multi-agency audience. It was developed by Community Justice Scotland\, in collaboration with CISSO and the Tay Project. \nIn relation to Justice Social Work\, it is recommended that practitioners attend this training before attending the RM2000 and Stable and Acute 2007 training. This will enable a broader knowledge and understanding of the subject before going on to consider risk. \nThe expected learning outcomes from the course are:\n• Basic level introduction to sexually harmful behaviour\n• Increasing awareness and understanding of relevant legislation and public protection systems and processes\n• Enhance theoretical knowledge of Risk Assessment and Intervention\n• Awareness and understanding of the importance of self-care in working with sexual offending behaviour\n• Increase confidence and provide reassurance in transferrable skills\n• Introduction to co-working

DESCRIPTION:BOOKING \nNomination forms for Caledonian Training are available on The Knowledge Hub. Click here \nCaledonian System training is available to workers in Local Authorities\, or their partner organisations\, who are funded by Scottish Government to deliver the System in their communities. Nomination forms should be approved by the relevant Operational Manager in your area. \nThis course is part of the Caledonian System Training Pathway\, once you have passed the screening process (if appropriate) you will be offered dates for all the training relevant to your role in the Caledonian Team. \n COURSE CONTENT  \nA four day course on the delivery of the Caledonian Men’s Programme\, including 1:1 individual work. All Caledonian Men’s Workers should complete this course\, it is also available for Children’s Workers who will be co-facilitating the Children and Fathering module. \n
