Gemma's role
Gemma has been with Community Justice Scotland since March 2017 as an Improvement Lead and latterly, Head of Restorative Justice, developing and supporting local and national practice improvement in all areas of the justice process and for everyone who comes in contact with that. She also acted as the Senior Reporting Officer for the Recover, Renew and Transform: Community Justice strand before taking up post as Head of Insights and Intelligence in April 2025.
Gemma holds particular interests in data and intelligence and analysis, social justice, restorative justice and community safety.
