DESCRIPTION:Course overview: This three day course introduces delegates to a broad range of skills that are essential for effective group work. Delegates begin by exploring theories around group formation and social learning. Days two and three provide delegates with opportunities to plan\, deliver and review group sessions. Successful completion of the Foundation Group Work Skills programme is a prerequisite for the Moving Forward: making Changes (MF:MC) group work and is strongly recommended for group workers in the Caledonian programme. \nJoining criteria: This course is only open to workers involved in the delivery of community justice.\nApplication by nomination from your line manager here.
